This is my research into the album covers of different chosen genres. I choose 1-2 titles from 6 different bands of the indie/folk genre. This research is important as now I have ideas as to how I want my cover to look as these album covers have given me some inspiration.
This was created using PowerPoint and uploaded via SlideShare. Enjoy!

Action Plan
This post is an overview of the next half term in terms of what work I have completed, and what I still have left to do come the end of October.
In the next few weeks I shall:
- Plan and pitch an idea for my brand/video
- get audience feedback on my ideas and use this feedback to shape and finalise my ideas
- Plan for my music video. This includes the storyboard, call sheets, location scouting, risk assessments, production sheets
- Whilst planning my shoot I also need to take into consideration my ideas for my digipack and print advert
- Research other artist's brands, digipacks and print adverts relations to the music industry
- Test shoot my music video to check location, sound, lighting and shots are available at each location. If not, then changes will be made according to each problem I encounter
- Contact the artist of the song I have chosen asking permission to use said song
- Regularly update my blog with posts of the planning process
- Relate back to my AS blog and improve upon the quality and diversity of posts so when I evaluate, I have plenty to discuss
- Look back at my AS opening sequence and relate it to each aspect of the exam (representations, media language, genre ect.)
When completed by the half term, I will be ready or hopefully even ongoing with the process of filming my video, ready for editing when returning in November, allowing myself plenty of time for any reshoots and editing updates.
So that's the plan, until next time,
Toni
